George Gadd is a Nottingham-born, Birmingham based singer songwriter whom we got in contact with after we received an e-mail suggesting getting him to do a session. He was more than willing, and finding a spot in a park behind the eventually-to-be-opened Birmingham Library, he performed a couple of songs for us. Afterwards, a lady came up and said she enjoyed listening to him from her flat that was behind where we were filming!
Check out George’s original song, “The Day That We Died.”
Originally going to perform a Gaslight Anthem song, we had to stop because the camera’s tripod was slipping. George changed his mind and decided to cover The Felice Brothers and “Marie.”
